Tolerance of Ambiguity

Tolerance of Ambiguity is the ability to perceive ambiguous situations as desirable, accept some uncertainty while making decisions, and a tendency to avoid thinking in a rigid manner. It is the degree to which we are comfortable with uncertainty, unpredictability, conflicting directions, and multiple demands. It manifests itself in our ability to operate effectively in an uncertain environment.

Tolerance of Ambiguity is seen as an important criterion for development of flexible, integrative, and independent thinking. Also, a significant and positive relationship has been found between creativity and tolerance of ambiguity.

The person will be able to:

  • Stay patient when being a part of an activity that they do not totally understand.
  • Participate in a setting that is composed of people that do not share similar values.
  • Enjoy working with people who have different values than themselves.
  • Enjoy travelling and adjusting to new and unfamiliar situations.
  • Manage their emotions in unpredictable and unfamiliar situations.

संदिग्ध परिस्थितीला इष्ट संधी म्हणून पाहण्याची, निर्णय घेते वेळी येणारी काही अनिश्चितता स्वीकारण्याची आणि ताठर पद्धतीने विचार करण्याची वृत्ती टाळण्याची क्षमता म्हणजे संदिग्धतेविषयी सहिष्णुता होय. अनिश्चितता, पूर्व अंदाज करता न येणारी, परस्परविरोधी दिशा आणि अनेकविध मागण्या करणारी परिस्थिती मोकळेपणाने स्वीकारु शकण्याचे प्रमाण म्हणजे संदीग्धतेविषयी सहिष्णुता होय. अनिश्चित वातावरणातही प्रभावीपणे कार्य करण्याचे कौशल्य या क्षमतेतून प्रकट होत असते.

लवचिक, एकात्मिक आणि स्वतंत्र विचारसरणी यांच्या विकासासाठी संदिग्धतेविषयीची सहिष्णुता हा एक महत्त्वाचा निकष म्हणून पाहण्यात येतो. तसेच सर्जनशीलता आणि संदिग्धतेविषयी सहिष्णुता या दोघांमध्ये महत्त्वाचा आणि सकारात्मक नातेसंबंधसुद्धा असल्याचे निष्पन्न झाले आहे.

यह एक ऐसी योग्यता है जो अस्पष्ट परिस्थितियों को वाँछित रूप में देखती है निर्णय करते समय अनिश्चितता को स्वीकारती है। यह ऐसी प्रवृत्ति है जो कठोर रूप में सोचने का एक ऐसा स्तर है जहाँ हम अनिश्चितता, अनापेक्षित, परस्पर विरोधी दिशाएँ और अनेक माँगों के साथ सहज महसूस करते है यह योग्यता हमें अनिश्चित परिवेश के साथ प्रभावशाली रूप से कार्य करने के लिए  तैयार करती है

अस्पष्टता के प्रति सहनशील होने का कौशल एक महत्तवपूर्ण घटक है जो स्वतंत्र विचार प्रवृत्ति, लचीलापन और समग्रता का विकास करती है रचनात्मकता और अस्पष्टता के प्रति सहनशीलता दोनों के बीच एक सकारात्मक रिश्ता है

अनिश्चितता के प्रति सहनशीलता इस कौशल के व्यवहार में

व्यक्ति यह करने में सक्षम हो सकेगा :
• किसी ऐसी घटना का हिस्सा बनते समय धैर्य रखना जिसे वे पूरी तरह से नहीं समझते है ।

સંદિગ્ધતાની સહનશીલતા એટલે અનિશ્ચિતતા, વિરોધાભાસ દિશાઓ અને બહુવિધ માંગણીઓને સ્વીકારવાની અને આરામદાયક રહેવાની ક્ષમતા. તેનો અર્થ એ છે કે અસ્પષ્ટ પરિસ્થિતિઓને ઇચ્છનીય પરિસ્થિતિઓને તરીકે સમજવાની ક્ષમતા, નિર્ણય લેતી વખતે કેટલીક અનિશ્ચિતતા સ્વીકારવી અને જડતથી વિચારવાનું ટાળવું. તેમાં વિરોધાભાસી મુદ્દાઓને સમજવાની ક્ષમતાનો સમાવેશ થાય છે જે સમજવા માટે મુશ્કેલ હોઈ શકે છે, તેમજ તટસ્થ અને ખુલ્લી રીતે અસ્પષ્ટ, વિપરીત અથવા બહુવિધ અર્થો સાથેની માહિતીનો સમાવેશ થાય છે.

ಅಸ್ಪಷ್ಟತೆಯ ಸಹಿಷ್ಣುತೆ ಎಂದರೆ ಅನಿಶ್ಚಿತ, ಅನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿತ, ಸಂಘರ್ಷಮಯ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಬಹು ಬೇಡಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಒಪ್ಪಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಮತ್ತು ಅವುಗಳ ಜೊತೆ ಉತ್ತಮವಾಗಿ ವ್ಯವಹರಿಸುವ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದು ಅನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿತ ಸಂದರ್ಭಗಳನ್ನು ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿತವೆಂದು ಗುರುತಿಸುವುದು, ನಿರ್ಣಯಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಾಗ ಕೆಲವು ಅನಿಶ್ಚಿತತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಒಪ್ಪಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು, ಮತ್ತು ವ್ಯತ್ಯಾಸ ಬಯಸದ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯೋಚಿಸುವುದನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸುವ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದು  ಅರ್ಥ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಕಷ್ಟಕರವಾದ ಕಠಿಣ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ತಟಸ್ಥ ಹಾಗೂ ಮುಕ್ತವಾದ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಸ್ಪಷ್ಟ  ಸಹಿಷ್ಣುತೆಯನ್ನು  ಅರ್ಥಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ.

ಅಸ್ಪಷ್ಟತೆಯ ಸಹಿಷ್ಣುತೆಯು ಹೊಂದಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಿಕೆ, ಸಮಗ್ರ  ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರ ಚಿಂತನೆಯ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಅಂಶವಾಗಿದೆ. ಅಸ್ಪಷ್ಟತೆಯ ಸಹಿಷ್ಣುತೆಯು ನೇರವಾಗಿ ಸೃಜನಶೀಲತೆಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದೆ.

  • ತಮಗಿಂತ ವಿಭಿನ್ನ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಜನರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಆನಂದಿಸುವುದು.
  • ಅನಿರೀಕ್ಷತ ಹಾಗೂ ಊಹಿಸಲಾಗದ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಭಾವನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ಮತ್ತು ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯುತವಾಗಿ ಹಂಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು.
