Planning is the ability to think ahead and mentally anticipate the best way to carry out a task or reach a specific goal. It is the ability to form a specific, achievable goal; formulate a strategy, execute it with focus, and monitor our progress towards the goal. It includes the ability to manage ourselves and others, as well as resources including time and surrounding circumstances to reach a specific goal.

Planning provides benefits that facilitate progress even when faced with uncertainty and a constantly changing environment by offering a guide for action and better utilisation of resources.

Planning In Action

The person will be able to:

  • Accurately estimate the time and effort required to complete a task.
  • Visualise sub-tasks involved in the completion of a bigger task.
  • Develop schedules with clear, realistic and specific milestones and deadlines.
  • Organise a personal time to carry out responsibilities.
  • Identify aspects of the plan that need support, in a timely manner.
  • Use strategies to formulate a plan with or without the support of others.
  • Set realistic goals and act towards achieving them.
  • Exhibit goal-directed behaviour independently and when instructed.
  • Establish ways to measure results and milestones for themselves.
  • Formulate contingency plans in case of unexpected occurrences.

पुढचा विचार करण्याची आणि नेमून दिलेले कार्य पूर्ण करण्यासाठी किंवा विशिष्ट ध्येयापर्यंत पोहोचण्यासाठी सर्वाेत्तम मार्गाचा बौद्धिक पातळीवर मागोवा घेण्याची क्षमता म्हणजे नियोजन होय. साध्य करण्याजोगे ध्येय ठरवण्याची, धोरण तयार करून ते अंमलात आणण्याची आणि त्या ध्येयाच्या दिशेने होणाऱ्या प्रगतीवर देखरेख करण्याची क्षमता म्हणजे नियोजन होय. स्वतःचे आणि इतरांचे व्यवस्थापन करण्याच्या सोबतच वेळेचा समावेश असलेल्या स्रोतांचे आणि एका विशिष्ट ध्येयापर्यंत पोहोचण्यासाठी सभोवतालच्या परिस्थितींचे व्यवस्थापन करण्याचा यात समावेश होतो.

अनिश्चितता , बदलते वातावरण याला सामोरे जाण्यासाठी मार्गदर्शक ठरते व स्रोतांचा उत्तम तऱ्हेने उपयोग करून घेत प्रगती साधण्यासाठी नियोजन क्षमता उपयोगी ठरते.   

नियोजन या कौशल्याची व्यवहारातील अभिव्यक्ती

हे कौशल्य आत्मसात केलेली व्यक्ती पुढील गोष्टी करण्यासाठी सक्षम झालेली दिसते.

  • नेमून दिलेले कार्य पूर्ण करण्यासाठी आवश्यक असलेल्या वेळेचा आणि प्रयत्नांचा तंतोतंत अंदाज बांधणे
  • नेमून दिलेल्या मोठ्या कार्याची पूर्तता करण्यासाठी त्यात समाविष्ट असलेल्या छोट्याछोट्या नेमून दिलेल्या कार्यांचे काल्पनिक चित्र डोळ्यासमोर तयार करणे.
  • विशिष्ट, सुस्पष्ट आणि वास्तववादी कामगिरीचे टप्पे आणि कालमर्यादा यांच्यासह वेळापत्रके विकसित करणे.
  • जबाबदाऱ्या पूर्ण करण्यासाठी वैयक्तिक वेळेचे व्यवस्थापन करणे

यह एक ऐसी योग्यता है, जो भविष्य के बारे में सोचती है, किसी कार्य को करने के लिए या लक्ष्य  पूर्ति के लिए मानसिक रूप से उसके बारे  में पहले से सोचविचार करती है यह योग्यता किसी विशिष्ट / विशेष लक्ष्य की प्राप्ति हेतु लक्ष्य को पाने के लिए नीतियों का निर्मांण करना, उनका ध्यान से पालन करना और लक्ष्यपूर्ति की ओर हमारे सफल प्रयास की निगरानी करता है। यह कैशाल हमारे एवं दूसरों के प्रबंधन के साथसाथ साधनों का, समय का और आसपास की परिस्थितियों का भी प्रबंध करता है जिसके द्वारा हम लक्ष्य को प्राप्त कर सकेंगे

निरंतर बदलते परिवेश या अनिश्चितता के बावजूद भी यह कौशल प्रगति हासिल करने के सारे फायदे हमें एक मार्गदर्शक में तथा साधनों के उचित उपयोग  के द्वारा उपलब्ध कराता है।

योजना इस कौशल के व्यवहार में

व्यक्ति यह करने में सक्षम हो सकेगा :
• काम पूरा करने के लिए समय और प्रयत्नों के सही रूप में अनुमान लगा सकेगा ।
• बढें कार्य की पूर्णता के लिए उपकार्य के बारे में कल्पना कर सकेगा ।
• स्पष्ट, वास्तविक तथा विशेष समय सीमा के अनुसार अनुसूची कार्यक्रम बना सकेगा ।
• जिम्मेदारियों को पूरा करने के लिए व्यक्तिगत समय को सुनियोजित कर सकेगा ।
• योजना के घटक को निश्चित करते हुए समयानुसार सहयोग प्रदान कर सकेगा ।
• सहायता या उनके बिना योजना को तैयार करने के लिए क्रियाओं का इस्तेमाल कर पाएगा । सहायता या बिना सहायता योजना निर्माण हेतु, रणनीतियों का प्रयोग कर सकेगा ।
• वास्तविक लक्ष्यों को निर्माण कर उसकी प्राप्ति हेतु उसके अनुसार कार्य कर सकेगा ।
• सूचनानुसार तथा लक्ष्यपूर्ति हेतु स्वतंत्र रूप से व्यवहार कर सकेगा।निर्देशानुसार लक्ष्य आधारित व्यवहार प्रारंभित कर सकेगा ।
• कार्य के परिणामों को मापने हेतु अलग-अलग मार्ग स्थापित कर सकेगा ।
• आकस्मिक आने वाली चुनौतियों के समाधान हेतु योजना बन सकेगा |

ಯೋಜನಾ ಕೌಶಲವು ಅನಿಶ್ಚಿತತೆಯ ಸನ್ನಿವೇಶ ಎದುರಿಸಿದಾಗಲೂ ಮತ್ತು ಬದಲಾದ ಪರಿಸರದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ, ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲಗಳ ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿ ಬಳಕೆಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ನೀಡಿ ಪ್ರಗತಿ ಹೊಂದಲು ಅನುವು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಡುತ್ತದೆ.

ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯು ಈ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಲು ಸಾದ್ಯವಾಗುವುದು:

  • ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಳಿಸಲು ಬೇಕಾಗಿರುವ ಸಮಯ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನವನ್ನು ನಿಖರವಾಗಿ ಗುರುತಿಸುವುದು.
  • ದೊಡ್ಡ ಕೆಲಸಗಳನ್ನು  ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಳಿಸಲು ಅವಶ್ಯಕವಾದ ಸಣ್ಣ ಕೆಲಸಗಳನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸುವುದು. 
  • ಕಾರ್ಯದ ವೇಳಾಪಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ನಿಖರವಾಗಿ, ನೈಜವಾಗಿ ಮತ್ತು ನಿರ್ದಿಷ್ಟ ಅವಧಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಗಡುವಿನೊಂದೊಗೆ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೊಳಿಸುವುದು.
  • ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಭಾಯಿಸಲು ತಮ್ಮ ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಸಮಯವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು 
  • ಸಮಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಯೋಜನೆಗೆ ಬೇಕಿರುವ ಅಂಶಗಳನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸುವುದು
  • ಬೇರೆಯವರ ಬೆಂಬಲ ಅಥವಾ ಬೆಂಬಲದ ಹೊರತು ತಮ್ಮ ಯೋಜನೆಯನ್ನು ಕಾರ್ಯಗತಗೊಳಿಸುವ ತಂತ್ರವನ್ನು ಬಳಸುವುದು 
  • ನೈಜ ಗುರಿಗಳನ್ನು ರಚಿಸುವುದು ಮತ್ತು ಅದನ್ನು ಈಡೇರಿಸಲು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸುವುದು 
  • ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರವಾಗಿ ಗುರಿ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಿತ ವರ್ತನೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸುವುದು 
  • ಫಲಿತಾಂಶ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯವನ್ನು  ಮೌಲ್ಯಾಂಕಿಸಲು ತಮ್ಮದೇ ಆದ ವಿಧಾನವನ್ನು ಬಳಸುವುದು
  • ಅನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿತವಾಗಿ ಏನಾದರೂ ಘಟಿಸಿದ್ದಲ್ಲಿ  ಪರ್ಯಾಯ ಯೋಜನೆಯನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸುವುದು.
