It is our ability to contribute to preferred activities, seek new experiences, ask questions, and take on challenges. It includes the capacity to take action, be resourceful and introduce a new course of action when required, sustain motivation, and work towards an identified goal. Initiative hinges on the belief that outcomes depend on our own actions rather than fate, chance or others.

Initiative skills are linked to enterprise, taking charge, follow-through, determination, and leadership. These skills help us engage effectively with the world around us and motivate us to pursue our desired goals. People with skills of initiative tend to accept responsibility for their attitudes and behaviour, and gain the trust of others.

संकल्पना, व्यक्ती आणि अनुभव यांच्याबरोबर उत्साहाने काम करण्याची क्षमता म्हणजे पुढाकार हे जीवन कौशल्य होय . आवडणाया उपक्रमांमध्ये योगदान देणे, नवीन अनुभवांचा शोध घेणे, प्रश्न विचारणे आणि आव्हाने स्वीकारणे या क्षमतांचा यात समावेश होतो.कृती करण्याच्या, स्रोतसंपन्न असण्याच्या आणि जेव्हा आवश्यकता असेल तेव्हा एक नवीन कृती आराखडा प्रस्तावित करण्याच्या, प्रेरणा टिकवून ठेवण्याच्या आणि मान्यता दिलेल्या ध्येयांच्या दिशेने काम करण्याच्या क्षमतेचा यात समावेश असतो. फलनिष्पत्ती ही नशीब, संधी किंवा इतर गोष्टींवर अवलंबून नसून ती आपल्या स्वतःच्या कृतींवर अवलंबून असते या ठाम समजूतीवर पुढाकार घेऊन काम करणे ही क्षमता टिकून असते.

पुढाकार घेऊन काम करणे हे कौशल्य, साहसाने केलेला उपक्रम, ताबा घेणे, संपूर्णतः अनुसरण करणे, निर्धार आणि नेतृत्व या कौशल्यांशी जोडलेले आहे. ही कौशल्ये सभोवताली असणाऱ्या जगात प्रभावीपणे सहभागी होण्यात मदत करतात आणि इच्छित ध्येय प्राप्त करण्यासाठी प्रेरणा देतात. पुढाकार घेऊन काम करण्याचे कौशल्य ज्या व्यक्तींकडे असते त्या व्यक्तींचा कल त्यांचा स्व दृष्टिकोन आणि वर्तणूक याबाबतची जबाबदारी स्वीकारण्याकडे असतो तसेच इतरांचा विश्वास संपादन करण्याकडेही त्यांचा कल असतो.

  • संकल्पना, प्रकल्प आणि नेमून दिलेली कार्ये यात सक्रीयतेने सहभागी होणे.
  • क्लिष्टता वाढत जाणाऱ्या भूमिका आणि नेमून दिलेली कार्ये स्वतंत्रपणे स्वीकारणे.
  • स्वतंत्रपणे काम करणे. सातत्याने देखरेख केल्याशिवाय नेमून दिलेल्या कार्यांचे स्वरुप ठरवणे, प्राधान्यक्रम निश्चित करणे आणि ती कार्ये पूर्ण करणे.

पहल करना

पहल करना एक ऐसी योग्यता है जो हमें स्वतंत्र रूप से उत्साह के साथ विचारों, व्यक्तियों तथा अनुभवों से व्यक्त रहने के लिए अभिप्रेरित करती है । यह कौशल हमें पसंदीदा कार्यो में योगदान देने के लिए, नये अनुभवों को प्राप्त करने , प्रश्न पूछने ,चुनौतियों को स्वीकारने में हमारी मदद करता है । इसमें कार्यविधि करना, साधन सम्पन्न होना और जब आवश्यक हो नई कार्यविधि प्रस्तुत करना, प्रेरण बनाए रखना तथा चिन्हित लक्ष्य की ओर कार्य करना समाहित है । जिसमे किसी भी कार्य का नतीजा हमारे भाग्य या मौका या अन्य कारण पर निर्भर न होते हुए हमारे अपने किए गए काम पर निर्भर है।

पहल करना कौशल उद्यमिता , ज़िम्मेदारी लेने , पूरा करने दृढ निश्चय तथा नेतृत्व के साथ जुड़ा हुआ है । ये कौशल हमारे आस-पास की दुनिया के साथ जुडे रहने के लिए तथा हमारे इच्छित लक्ष्यों को पूरा करने के लिए हमें प्रेरित करता है। यह कौशल रखने वाले लोग अपने नजरिए तथा व्यवहार के प्रति जिम्मेदारियों को स्वीकार करते हुए है और लोगों के विश्वास को हासिल करते है।

पहल करना इस कौशल के व्यवहार में

व्यक्ति यह करने में सक्षम हो सकेगा :
• स्वयं के सीखने की क्रिया मे सक्रिय रूप से भाग लेगा ।
• सीखने के लिए प्रश्न पूछकर उत्सुकता दिखायेगा ।
• विचारो, प्रोजेक्ट तथा कार्य में सक्रिय रूप से संलग्न रहना ।
• उत्तरोत्तर स्वतंत्रपूर्वक जटिल भूमिकाए तथा कामों का निर्वहन करना ।
• निरंतर कार्य की निगरानी न करते हुए कार्य को स्वतंत्र रूप से करेगा , परिभाषित करेगा व , प्राथमिकता के साथ कार्य पूरा करेगा ।
• अपने कौशल से परे जाकर अपने सीखने की प्रक्रिया को खोजने व विस्तृत कर उसमें निपुणता हासिल करेगा ।
• उनके द्वारा जिन कार्यों को प्राप्त करने में कठिनाई महसूस हो रही है उनकी पहचान करना तथा सहायता लेना ।
