Decision Making is the ability to choose between two or more courses of action. It is the ability to identify and analyze the implications and consequences of our decisions. It is a process of making thoughtful, constructive and responsible choices about personal behaviour related to health, relationships, career and lifestyle, considering existing social, ethical and safety norms, in varied conditions.. It includes being able to make decisions independently and taking responsibility for our actions.

This key skill when imbibed at a young age contributes to a feeling of autonomy and also a sense of fulfilment. Decision Making is also proven to positively impact the attitude and effort we put into any task.

The person will be able to :

दोन किंवा त्याहून अधिक कृतीतून निवड करण्याची क्षमता म्हणजेच निर्णय घेणे होय. आपल्या निर्णयांचे परीणाम आणि त्यातून ध्वनीत होणारे अर्थ ओळखण्याची आणि त्याचे विश्लेषण करण्याची क्षमता म्हणजे निर्णय घेणे असते. विविध परिस्थितीत सध्या अस्तित्वात असलेल्या सामाजिक, नैतिक आणि सुरक्षा यांच्या नियमाच्या चौकटी लक्षात घेऊन आरोग्य, नातेसंबंध, करिअर (व्यावसायिक आयुष्य) आणि जीवनशैली संबंधित वैयक्तिक वर्तणूकीविषयी विचारपूर्वक रचनात्मक आणि जबाबदारीने निवड करण्याची ही एक प्रक्रिया आहे. आपल्या कृतींची जबाबदारी घ्यायला आणि स्वतंत्रपणे निर्णय घ्यायला सक्षम होण्याचा यात समावेश असतो.

अगदी लहान वयात हे मुख्य कौशल्य आत्मसात केल्याने ते कौशल्य स्वायत्ततेची भावना बळकट करण्यात आणि परिपूर्णतेची जाणीव होण्यात भर टाकते. कोणत्याही नेमून दिलेल्या कार्यात आपण जी मेहनत घेतो आणि आपला जो दृष्टिकोन असतो त्यांना सकारात्मकरित्या प्रभावित करण्याचीसुद्धा क्षमता निर्णय घेण्याच्या कौशल्यात असल्याचे सिद्ध झाले आहे.

हे कौशल्य आत्मसात केलेली व्यक्ती पुढील गोष्टी करण्यासाठी सक्षम झालेली दिसते.

  • आपल्या स्वतःचा अनुभव आणि शिक्षण यावर आधारलेले माहितीपूर्ण निर्णय घेणे.

निर्णय क्षमता एक ऐसी योग्यता है जो दो या उससे अधिक कार्यो के बीच चुनाव करने में मदद करती है। यह हमारे निर्णयों के परिणामों या नतीजों को पहचानने में और विश्लेषण करने में मदद करती है। यह कौशल सामाजिक नैतिक सुरक्षा मानकों को मद्देनजर रखते हुए हमारे व्यक्तिगत स्वास्थ्य, संबंध ,आजीविका ,जीवनशैली में रचनात्मकता के लिए वैचारिक जिम्मेदारी पूर्ण विकल्प लेने में सहायता करने वाली प्रक्रिया है। यह स्वतंत्र रूप से निर्णय लेने में तथा अपने कार्यो की जिम्मेदारी उठाने में कारगर है।

यह कौशल युवा अवस्था में ही आत्मसात किया जाये तो स्वायत्तता की भावना और समाधान निर्माण करने में अपना योगदान देता है। निर्णय क्षमता काम के प्रति हमारे प्रयत्न को सकारात्मक दृष्टि से साबित करती है।

निर्णय क्षमता इस कौशल के व्यवहार में

व्यक्ति यह करने में सक्षम हो सकेगा :
• अपने अनुभव और सीख के आधार पर व्यक्ति निर्णय ले पाएगा।
• अपने निर्णयों के परिणामों को समझते हुए मूल्यांकन कर पायेगा ।
• अपने निर्णयों के परिणामों की व्यक्तिगत जिम्मेदारी लेगा।
• निर्णय लेते समय दूसरों की आवश्यकताओं का ध्यान रखेगा।
• सामाजिक मानकों तथा प्राधिकार का व्यक्तिगत निर्णय पर प्रभाव का मूल्यांकन करना ।।
• निर्णय लेते समय नैतिक तर्को का इस्तेमाल करेगा।
• पारस्परिक तथा समूह के संबंध में जिम्मेदारी पूर्ण निर्णय लेगा।
• आजीविका या महाविद्यालय चुनते समय मौजूदा निर्णय किस तरह उन्हें प्रभावित करेंगे – इसका विश्लेषण कर सकेंगे ।
• व्यक्तिगत पूर्वाग्रह व भेदभाव का वैयक्तिक निर्णय पर प्रभावों का मूल्यांकन करना ।
• अनैतिक और असुरक्षित गतिविधियों के विरोध में इस्तेमाल की जाने वाली नीतियों को पहचानकर उसका मूल्यांकन करेगा।
• अपनी निर्णय कौशल के द्वारा व्यक्ति अपने अध्यापन आदतों को सुधारेगा तथा शैक्षिक प्रदर्शन में सुधार कर पाएगा ।

નિર્ણય લેવો એ ક્રિયાના બે અથવા બેથી વધુ અભ્યાસક્રમો વચ્ચે પસંદગી કરવાની ક્ષમતા છે. તે વિવિધ પરિસ્થિતિઓમાં હાલના સામાજિક, નૈતિક અને સલામતી ધોરણોને ધ્યાનમાં લઈને સ્વાસ્થ્ય, સંબંધો, કારકિર્દી અને જીવનશૈલી સંબંધિત વ્યક્તિગત વર્તન વિશે વિચારશીલ, રચનાત્મક પસંદગી કરવાની પ્રક્રિયા છે. તે આપણા નિર્ણયોની અસરો અને પરિણામોને ઓળખવા અને તેનું વિશ્લેષણ કરવાની ક્ષમતા છે. તેમાં સ્વતંત્ર રીતે નિર્ણયો અને આપણી ક્રિયાઓની જવાબદારી લેવાનો સમાવેશ થાય છે.

ನಿರ್ಣಯಿಸುವಿಕೆ ಕೌಶಲವು ಎರಡಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಆಯ್ಕೆಗಳಿಂದ ಒಂದನ್ನು ಆಯ್ದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದು ಆರೋಗ್ಯ, ಸಂಬಂಧಗಳು, ವೃತ್ತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಜೀವನಶೈಲಿಯಲ್ಲಿ, ಅಸ್ತಿತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ, ನೈತಿಕ ಹಾಗೂ ಸುರಕ್ಷತಾ ವಿಧಾನಗಳಿಗೆ ಅನುಗುಣವಾಗಿ ನಮ್ಮ ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ವರ್ತನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆಲೋಚಿಸುವ, ರಚನಾತ್ಮಕ ಮತ್ತು ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯುತ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ನಿರ್ಧಾರಗಳಿಂದ ಆಗುವ ಪರಿಣಾಮಗಳನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸುವ ಮತ್ತು ವಿಶ್ಲೇಷಿಸುವ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರವಾಗಿ ನಿರ್ಧಾರ ಮಾಡುವ ಮತ್ತು ನಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿದೆ.

ಈ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಕೌಶಲವನ್ನು ಚಿಕ್ಕ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅಳವಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದರಿಂದ ಸ್ವಾಯತ್ತತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಧನೆಯ ಭಾವ ಜಾಗೃತವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ನಿರ್ಣಿಯಿಸುವಿಕೆ ಕೌಶಲವು ನಮ್ಮ ವರ್ತನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನದ ಮೇಲೆ ಧನಾತ್ಮಕ ಪ್ರಭಾವ ಬೀರುತ್ತದೆ.

ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯು ಈ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗುವುದು:

  • ನಮ್ಮ ಸ್ವಂತ ಅನುಭವ ಮತ್ತು ಕಲಿಕೆಗೆ ಆಧಾರವಾಗಿ ಯೋಜಿತ ನಿರ್ಧಾರ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು 
  • ನಮ್ಮ ನಿರ್ಧಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಥಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು ಮತ್ತು ಅದರ ಪರಿಣಾಮಗಳನ್ನು ಮೌಲ್ಯಾಂಕಿಸುವುದು 
  • ನಿರ್ಧಾರಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಾಗ ಇತರರ ಅವಶ್ಯಕತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸುವುದು 
  • ನಮ್ಮ ನಿರ್ಧಾರಗಳ ಪರಿಣಾಮಗಳಿಗೆ ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು 
  • ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ನಿರ್ಧಾರ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಾಗ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಕಟ್ಟುಪಾಡು ಹಾಗೂ ಅಧಿಕಾರದ ಪ್ರಭಾವವನ್ನು ಮೌಲ್ಯಾಂಕಿಸುವುದು 
  • ನಿರ್ಣಿಯಿಸುವಿಕೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ತರ್ಕ ಹಾಗೂ ಭಾವನೆಯ ಪರಿಣಾಮವನ್ನು ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸುವುದು 
  • ನಿರ್ಧಾರಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಾಗ ನೈತಿಕ ತರ್ಕವನ್ನು ಅನ್ವಯಿಸುವುದು 
  • ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಮತ್ತು ಗುಂಪು ಸಂಬಂಧಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯುತ ನಿರ್ಧಾರಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು

  • ಅಸುರಕ್ಷಿತ ಹಾಗೂ ಅನೈತಿಕ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸುವ ಒತ್ತಡಗಳನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸುವುದು ಮತ್ತು ಅದನ್ನು ತಡೆಯಲು ತಂತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಮೌಲ್ಯಾಂಕಿಸುವುದು
