Analytical Thinking is the ability to examine information or a situation in detail, break it down to key elements, identify their strengths and weaknesses and apply logic to make a reasoned judgement and resolve a problem. It includes the ability to identify patterns across situations that are not obviously related, and to recognise underlying issues in complex situations.

Having analytical skills helps us look at situations and problems without any biases. We are able to look at different sides of the problem, make accurate analyses, draw logical conclusions and offer relevant solutions.

Analytical Thinking In Action

The person will be able to:

  • Evaluate the appropriateness and accuracy of information.
  • Check for hidden biases or assumptions.
  • Examine opinions, arguments or solutions against appropriate criteria.
  • Determine whether the evidence supports the conclusions.
  • Effectively communicate the patterns they see and their conclusions and recommendations.

माहिती किंवा परिस्थितीची तपशिलात तपासणी करता येणे, तिची घटकवार वर्गवारी करता येणे ,तिच्या कमकुवत आणि सक्षम बाबी ओळखून विचारपूर्वक मत तयार करणे आणि समस्या निराकरण करण्यासाठी तर्काधारित विचार करणे म्हणजे विश्लेषणात्मक विचार होय. यात स्पष्टपणे परिस्थितीशी संबंधित नाहीत अशा पहिल्यापासून शेवटपर्यंत आलेल्या साचेबद्ध गोष्टी ओळखणे आणि क्लिष्ट परिस्थितीतील सुप्त पातळीवरील समस्या ओळखण्याचा समावेश असतो.

विश्लेषणात्मक कौशल्ये आपल्याला परिस्थिती आणि समस्या यांच्याकडे कोणत्याही पूर्वग्रहाशिवाय पाहण्यात मदत करतात. आपण एकाच समस्येच्या वेगवेगळ्या बाजूंकडे पाहायला, अचूक विश्लेषण करायला, तर्कशुद्ध निष्कर्ष काढायला आणि सुसंगत उपाययोजना करायला सक्षम होतो.

विश्लेषणात्मक सोच एक ऐसी योग्यता है जो पर्याप्त जानकारी या परिस्थिति को विस्तृत रूप से जाँचती है एवं  उसे प्रमुख भागों में अच्छी समझ के लिए विभाजित करती है उसके मजबूत एवं कमजोर पक्षों को जानकर उसके बारे में तर्कसंगत निर्णय को प्रयोग कर समस्या का समाधान प्रस्तुत करती है। परिस्थितियों में छिपी हुए महत्वपूर्ण विचार कभी कभी संबंधित भी नहीं होते  ऐसी कठिन परिस्थितियों में सही मुद्दों को पहचानती है।

व्यक्ति यह करने में सक्षम हो सकेगा :
• इस विचारों पूर्वाग्रहों की उपयुक्तता और शुद्धता का मूल्यांकन कर पाना।
